I offer in-person sessions in Nashville, TN and video sessions for CA and FL residents.
Individual Counseling
Asking for help does not mean failure. In our culture we are praised for being self-sufficient and independent, but we are social beings and many of us feel alone. It takes strength and courage to allow someone to see the parts of yourself you don't like. Whatever you bring, I will meet without judgment. I work with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, feeling stuck, grief and loss, challenges in relationships and life transitions.
Couples Counseling
Couples counseling can be vulnerable and challenging - and also a game changer. I love seeing couples reconnect after struggling in their relationship. I will teach you how to listen and understand one another so that you can break free from the stories that keep you stuck in anger, resentment and pain.
Counseling for Teens
After having been a Wellness Counselor at a San Francisco public high school, I have a special place in my heart for teens. If you feel your emotions are overwhelming, if you are exhausted from anxiety, if relationships hurt and you feel alone, if it is hard to get out of bed because of pressure and stress, I can help.
About Me:
This is my second and chosen career. In addition to my Masters of Counseling Psychology degree and my clinical training and experience, I bring life experience to my work. I have been married for over 20 years, I am a parent, and I continue to do my own personal work. I am warm, direct and interactive, and I use both humor and empathy to connect with my clients.
I have experience with and enjoy working with a diverse range of clients. I welcome clients of any gender identity, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, nationality and religious affiliation.
